Belvedere
Belvedere House
Perched along Brisbane’s ridgeline, Belvedere is a refined interplay of heritage and modernity.
This sculptural residence reimagines the classic Queenslander through a contemporary lens, its signature arches echoing the rhythm of the original form while anchoring it firmly in the present.
Within, open-plan interiors are infused with light and framed by sweeping city views. Sliding seamlessly into lush garden terraces, the home dissolves boundaries between indoors and out—curated with stepping stones, native plantings and water features that soften the urban edge.
A restrained palette of raw concrete, warm timber and crisp white forms creates a dynamic dialogue of light, texture and shadow. The original pitched roofline remains, offering a respectful nod to the past, while bold architectural gestures below speak to a confident, modern Brisbane.
Garden terraces blur the threshold between interior and exterior, grounded by native planting, curved pathways and quiet water features — a soft counterpoint to the home’s architectural precision.
At Belvedere, the familiar is reimagined, a meditative exploration of space, light and Brisbane’s evolving identity.
