Construction Commences at Prime Oceanfront Development by Joe Adsett

Architect-Developer Joe Adsett has officially commenced construction on a 5-storey oceanfront development, Lagune Moffat Beach.

Lagune, the latest project by national award-winning Brisbane-based Joe Adsett Architects, offers luxurious living on the headland of Moffat Beach, showcasing breathtaking views that'll never be built out.

Once completed Lagune will comprise 5 full-floor luxury residences, two pools, direct lift access, wrap around balconies, full height glazing, outdoor showers, and expansive ocean views from Moffat Beach all the way to Point Cartwright.

These are one of the largest new sky homes under construction in the Sunshine Coast.

“Lagune Moffat Beach showcases a huge milestone for the Joe Adsett team, as we continue to design and deliver house-sized sky homes to north facing beachfront living” said Mr Adsett.

The sweeping wave-form arcs of the façade embrace the residences, boldly framing the views of the coastline and tastefully linking the building to its natural surroundings. Each residence hosts well-proportioned spaces, arranged to maximise cross flow, natural light, and functionality.

Each of the 5 full-floor apartments on Queen of Colonies Parade will offer 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, central courtyard, direct lift access, 2 car spaces, and range in size from 294m2.

The development is being delivered by Noosa based boutique luxury builder Archend.

Construction follows strong interest in the development, with only 2 remaining.

Archend Director, Alex Hansen said the company is excited to be partnering with the Joe Adsett team to deliver this prestigious development.

Meticulously planned with a commitment to quality, the luxury residences draw inspiration from the surrounding natural elements of the coastline and local flora to create a refined and elegant offering.

“The uniqueness of the location is all to do with the natural beauty that’s afforded by a north-facing beach where you get these rocky outcrops, beautiful headlands and great surfing breaks”, Adsett says.

Demand has been growing at the premium end of the market, with luxury new developments catering for buyers looking for the perfect blend of luxury and lifestyle.

The median house price in Moffat Beach has increased by 45.7% and the median apartment price by 36% the 12 months leading up to Q4 2022, according to realestate.com.au data.

Moffat Beach has been less developed than other nearby beach locations like Caloundra and Mooloolaba, meaning opportunities to buy into this exclusive community have been limited.

With very little new development in the area, the architecturally designed Lagune is something special, Adsett says.

Established in 2010, Joe Adsett Architects are a national award-winning architect-developer specialising in luxury residential architecture, interior design, and multi-residential developments. The firm’s work was recognized for 14 national and state industry awards in 2022.

Archend is a Noosa based boutique luxury builder who are highly experienced in delivering premium residential buildings.

Lagune has secured funding by GPS Development Finance Pty Ltd.

The boutique development is expected to come out of the ground this year.

 Prices start at $5.1 million.
