Urban.com: Construction commences at Joe Adsett's Rockpool Rainbow Bay

The $100 million project will comprise 21 high-end apartments all with ocean views over Rainbow Bay and Snapper Rocks

Architect-cum developer Joe Adsett’s luxury Gold Coast apartment project, Rockpool Rainbow Bay, is starting its construction.

Southeast Queensland building firm Tomkins Commercial has started earthworks on the prime site at 154-156 Marine Parade, which will offer never-to-be-built-out views to Rainbow Bay and Snapper Rocks.

The $100 million project will comprise 21 high-end apartments. Adsett's design ethos was to deliver a "sub-tropical modernist architectural approach to beachfront apartment living." 80 per cent of apartments in Rockpool are already accounted for.

“I am pleased to announce that Rockpool is well and truly underway, and we look forward to seeing our vision come to life,” Adsett says.

“Tomkins have been one of Queensland’s leading construction companies for over 70 years and they are well equipped to ensure the delivery of the project.”
